Infrared Sauna Therapy

Sweating is your body's natural way of detoxification, which is why sauna therapy is an excellent way to promote health, relaxation and cellular renewal.  Infrared Sauna Therapy is a new addition to the Island Retreat Spa treatments this season!

Our sauna is designed for safety and pure relaxation, with acoustic resonance and chromotherapy, a private treatment room and space to stretch your legs, your session will be the perfect addition to your massage or yoga class.

30-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute session options are available, and flexibility to add on sauna time to other services is only $15*.

*$15 price is for a 30-minute far infrared session when added to any other spa service. Space is limited, book ahead!

What the difference between Infrared and a traditional Swedish or Finnish-style steam sauna?

Infrared Saunas are dry and do not use water/steam, but rather work to raise the body's core temperature by up to 3% to generate a deep, rejuvenating sweat. Sunlighten uses patented Solocarbon technology, which is one of the safest and most effective methods. Learn more here.
